It’s election season in Ottawa — you may have noticed the signs going up recently — and I sat down with Mark Sutcliffe, Catherine McKenney and Bob Chiarelli to get a sense of their priorities, how they’re going about their campaign, how they perceive the other guys, etc. The goal was to highlight positive things, because face it, the negative stuff doesn’t really need a lot of work to figure out.
I make it clear in this column that McKenney’s platform is the one closest to my own preferences. Maybe that’ll save me from a twitter troll or two. I always find it funny when people complain that I’m not objective because that’s sort of my job not to be as an opinion columnist. But hey.
I do try to be fair, and I hope it comes through.
