Where is the outrage? I don’t find this skit particularly funny, but that’s neither here nor there. I agree with Kathy Shaidle: Gutfeld didn’t joke about our men and women in uniform. He and the panel joked about our pathetic equipment — and our equipment is pathetic and everybody knows it.
You think Canadian soldiers don’t make disparaging remarks about their equipment? With plenty of four-letter words? Why are people getting so bent out of shape over this?
Can’t agree with you more. What I believe is even more telling in this situation is the more left wing the person is the more outraged they seem to be. Some sort of survivor’s guilt perhaps?
Or maybe they just haven’t paid attention this past decade and a half and don’t have a proper comprehension of just how outraged we should be at the concept of a “operational pause” and what that means about the equipment we have provided for our fighting forces.
